Graphic Designer Faculty

As a Graphic Design Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons on various aspects of graphic design, such as design theory, typography, digital media, and visual communication. You will act as a mentor to students by providing guidance and feedback on their coursework, projects, and career development within the field. Ensuring that students are proficient in industry-standard software like Adobe Creative Suite will be a key aspect of your role. Your duties will also include overseeing student projects, providing constructive feedback, and assessing their work to ensure that learning objectives are met. Guiding students in building strong portfolios to showcase their skills and prepare them for job opportunities will be vital. It is essential to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in graphic design to inform curriculum and teaching practices. Active participation in departmental meetings, committees, and initiatives will be expected to contribute to the overall academic environment. Engaging in personal creative projects or research to enhance your knowledge and contribute to the field is encouraged. Collaborating with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum and potentially on research projects is also part of the role.
