Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Genomics and Customer Success Trainee to support both our internal genomics validation efforts and external customer success functions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of clinical genomics, product testing, and customer engagement. The role will involve hands-on work with genomic data, supporting panel validation, assisting in clinical testing, and ensuring high-quality documentation and communication with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities Genomics & Clinical Testing

  • Assist in the validation of new gene panels for clinical testing.
  • Support dry lab teams in the clinical testing of samples across NGS pipelines.
  • Document observations, results, and findings during internal validation and routine testing.
  • Coordinate with bioinformatics and product teams to ensure genomic results align with expected clinical outcomes.

Documentation & Process Support

  • Create and maintain product manuals, user guides, and training documents for external clients.
  • Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal testing protocols, and validation records.
  • Coordinate with the product and clinical teams to ensure documentation reflects the latest product updates.
  • Help organize documentation for regulatory and compliance requirements.

Customer Success

  • Assist the Customer Success team in addressing queries from clinicians, lab partners, and external collaborators.
  • Coordinate with the internal genomics team to communicate timelines, deliverables, and technical details to customers.
  • Provide post-analysis support to resolve issues, clarify report content, and ensure high satisfaction.
  • Share timelines, technical updates, and educational material with clients.
  • Collect and consolidate customer feedback to help improve product experience and documentation quality.

Requirements Education

  • Master’s degree in Genomics, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong foundational knowledge of genomics and molecular diagnostics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in a cross-functional role involving both technical and customer-facing tasks.
  • Ability to document technical procedures and findings clearly and accurately.
  • Team player with a learning mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Prior internship/project experience in NGS or clinical diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with genetic panels, clinical reporting, or variant interpretation.
  • Experience with MS Office, Google Docs, or tools like Notion/Confluence for documentation.
  • Understanding of clinical or diagnostic workflows is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹340,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
