Job Description

As an Associate General Manager - Design, you will be responsible for the revenue and overall performance metrics of a designated region. This role involves managing critical growth factors for the business and its employees, taking ownership of key initiatives such as product launches, process improvements, category expansion, and vendor management. Your role will require active contribution to business decisions through qualitative insights and detailed quantitative analysis. You must possess a solid understanding of design requirements and customer experience to enhance business outcomes. Leading and motivating a dynamic city team comprising Business/Design Managers, Territory Area Managers, Designers, DPs, LPs, etc., on a daily basis is a key aspect of this role. Developing a conducive ecosystem for a successful design experience, both internally and for customers, will be crucial. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of design closure for Livspace catalogue products and essential home improvement services in the region. Meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as successful design sign-offs, error-free designs, sales penetration, customer satisfaction, and team engagement will be essential. You will act as the voice of the city and customers within Livspace, facilitating continuous feedback for organizational improvement. Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent, while an MBA would be advantageous - Minimum 6-7 years of experience in an interior fit-out business, managing revenue-generating teams or selling design products/services - Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills - Structured thought process and analytical abilities to excel in a fast-paced startup environment - Effective leadership and people management skills, with a history of direct team reporting - Drive for continuous improvement in Design and customer experience - In-depth knowledge of the interior fit-out industry, market trends, and processes - Leadership qualities to hire, retain, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively - Training and coaching skills to enhance team performance and provide appropriate rewards - Customer-centric approach to problem-solving and building trust with clients - Demonstrated hunger, humility, and agility as a Livspace leader in the specified region.,
