About the Role
We are looking for a visionary and hands-on GenAI Capability Leader to build and scale our Generative AI practice within our analytics services organization. This role will lead the development of cutting-edge GenAI solutions, build high-performing teams, and drive adoption of AI-driven innovation across client engagements and internal capabilities. You will be responsible for defining the GenAI strategy, overseeing solution architecture, and delivering business impact through AI-powered analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the GenAI capability building strategy aligned with business goals and client needs.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, ML engineers, and prompt engineers focused on fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), building AI agents, and deploying GenAI solutions in production environments.
- Identify, prioritize, and size business opportunities where GenAI can add value, working closely with sales, consulting, and delivery teams.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cloud-native GenAI platforms and solutions leveraging technologies such as Transformers, LLMs, embeddings, and agentic flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data engineers, and domain experts to integrate GenAI models with existing analytics and business systems.
- Drive innovation by staying current on the latest GenAI research, tools, and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI APIs, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and translate them into practical solutions.
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices for responsible and ethical AI use.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including client interactions, to ensure expectations are met and capabilities are effectively communicated.
- Lead capability building initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and knowledge sharing to embed GenAI expertise across the organization.
- Oversee performance monitoring, model evaluation, and continuous improvement of GenAI solutions to ensure business relevance and technical excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical field. Advanced degrees or PhD preferred.
- 8+ years of professional experience in AI, data science, or analytics, with at least 2 years focused on Generative AI technologies such as LLMs and transformer models.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Proven experience in deploying GenAI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating AI models with APIs and microservices architectures.
- Deep understanding of NLP, language modeling, prompt engineering, and AI agent development.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams and managing cross-functional collaborations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into business value for diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data engineering, MLOps, and scalable AI pipelines is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices and governance frameworks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in analytics services or consulting environments.
- Exposure to big data technologies and statistical methodologies for large dataset analysis.
- Certifications in cloud platforms or AI/ML specializations.
- Prior experience building AI labs or capability centers from scratch.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehousing solutions.
