Full stack Developer/Backend Developer/NodeJS

As a Full Stack Developer (Node.js) at our fast-growing Information Technology & Product Engineering company, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and deploying end-to-end web applications using Node.js, React/Vue, and RESTful services. Your role will involve developing robust back-end APIs, integrating relational and NoSQL data stores for low-latency access, and implementing microservice architecture by containerizing services with Docker and orchestrating CI/CD pipelines. It will be crucial for you to optimize application performance, conduct code reviews, enforce engineering-excellence standards, and collaborate with UX, QA, and DevOps teams to translate product requirements into production features. Additionally, you will troubleshoot production issues, monitor logs, and deliver hot-fixes within tight SLAs. In order to excel in this role, you must have 4-11 years of professional JavaScript/TypeScript development experience focusing on Node.js back-end. You should be adept at building REST/GraphQL APIs with Express.js or Fastify, proficient in relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, and have experience with Docker, Git, and automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha. A strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented principles is essential, along with the ability to work full-time on-site in India and collaborate effectively in Agile ceremonies. Preferred qualifications include exposure to React, Vue, or Angular front-end frameworks, knowledge of AWS/GCP deployment and serverless functions, familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ and Kafka, and an understanding of event-driven design and micro-frontend patterns using WebSockets for real-time apps. Experience setting up observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK, as well as contributions to open-source or tech community engagements, will be considered advantageous.
