Full Stack Developer - C++

As a Senior Software Engineer at our global engineering organization, you will play a key role in leading the design, development, and enhancement of our file transfer solutions and products. Joining our file transfer engineering team, you will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and secure software that supports critical file exchange capabilities for over 5000 global enterprise customers. We are seeking an experienced backend engineer who excels in a collaborative environment, takes ownership of complex systems, and is proficient in working across the full stackfrom APIs to UI to cloud integration. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing robust, high-performance file transfer products and solutions using Modern C++ (version 11 and later) and Java. Additionally, you will build and maintain RESTful integrations using JSON and XML and enhance web-based UIs using JavaScript, JQuery, and related frameworks. Your role will involve implementing and optimizing support for various file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S, and FTP/S. It will also include designing and implementing automated unit and integration tests in a shift-left testing environment, collaborating with team leads and architects on system design and feature planning, participating in code reviews, advocating for best practices, and enhancing code quality across the team. You will partner with Quality Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver reliable and maintainable enterprise software. Working with cloud technologies like AWS and Azure, you will deploy and scale infrastructure and services. In an Agile Scrum environment, you will contribute to team ceremonies, technical documentation, take ownership of assigned modules, and mentor junior engineers when appropriate. **YOUR EXPERIENCE** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5-7 years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong Modern C++ and OOP development skills. - Solid knowledge of REST APIs, integration patterns, and data formats like JSON. - Proficiency with JavaScript, JQuery, and modern front-end development concepts. - Proficiency with SQL and relational databases. - Strong understanding of file transfer and networking protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S). - Experience with version control (Git, SVN) and collaboration tools such as JIRA, TFS. - Familiarity with Agile Scrum development methodologies. - Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Security-first mindset, particularly with networking and data exchange.,
