Individuals should possess technical skills in composite materials, molding techniques,

and knowledge of quality control processes.

. A strong understanding of fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) properties and their

applications is also crucial.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical Expertise:

• FRP Materials: Familiarity with different types of FRP materials, including

fiberglass, carbon fiber, and their respective resins (polyester, epoxy, etc.).

• Molding Techniques: Experience with various molding processes like hand

lay-up, spray-up, and compression molding.

• Mould Design and Construction: Ability to interpret and create molds for

desired planter shapes and sizes.

• Quality Control: Understanding of quality control procedures to ensure the

integrity and durability of the finished planters.

• FRP Manufacturing Process: Knowledge of the entire FRP manufacturing

process, from raw material preparation to curing and finishing.

• Practical Skills:

• Hand-Lay-up: Proficiency in applying layers of FRP materials in the mold,

ensuring proper fiber orientation and resin impregnation.

• Spray-up: Skill in using spray guns to apply resin and fiber onto the mold.

• Mould Handling: Experience in managing and maintaining molds, including

demolding techniques to avoid damage.

• Finishing and Polishing: Ability to sand, paint, and polish FRP planters to

achieve the desired aesthetic.

Educational Background:

A degree in engineering (especially composite materials engineering or manufacturing

engineering).
