Role & responsibilities Coordinating with Production, Purchase, Quality in developing monthly production plans with the objective of completing planned work orders Solving daily material, manpower, machine, methods related issues with production, purchase, stores Eliminating reworks and rejections through defined outputs expected at each stage of fabrication spanning sheet marking, shearing, forming, fit up, welding Provide technical guidance on manufacturing operations (Cutting, Rolling, Welding {GTAW, SMAW, Resistance Welding), Pressing, Spray Painting/ Heat Treatment) where required Implement Automation in Forming, Welding, Hydrostatic Testing of Pressure vessels Develop supervisors and workers with HR in recruiting, providing On-job/External training on specific work functions Managing customer escalation on delivery, quality requirements on individual projects. Monitoring and Ensuring health and safety practices across the factory Preferred candidate profile Past experience in structural/ pressure part/equipment fabrication required Minimum 20 years of Work Experience mandatory Exposure to Bellow expansion joints preferred History of planning and monitoring in project job work environments desired Sound technical knowledge of Metal Forming, ASME Welding and NDT techniques ideal Proven Written and Oral communication skills a must
