Job Description

Description

We are seeking an experienced Food Safety Auditor to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience in food safety auditing and will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities adhere to the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive audits of food safety management systems in various facilities.
Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards and regulations.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement.
Provide training and support to staff on food safety practices and procedures.
Collaborate with different departments to promote a culture of food safety within the organization.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in food safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations such as FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.
Experience in conducting food safety audits and inspections.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
Certification in food safety auditing (e.g., Lead Auditor certification) is preferred.
