Role & responsibilities

*Job Title: Floor Supervisor*

*Department: Warehouse / Operations*

Salary- upto 33k Inhand

*Roles and Responsibilty-*

1. Support the Floor Manager in supervising daily warehouse or distribution floor activities.

2. Oversee receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

3. Assign tasks and monitor the performance of warehouse associates, forklift operators, and material handlers.

4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

5. Assist in onboarding, training, and mentoring new staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs).

6. Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, delays, or staffing issues in real time.

7. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment and warehouse areas are clean, safe, and organized.

8. Work with inventory control teams to perform cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.

9. Track KPIs and prepare reports on floor productivity, labor hours, and shipment accuracy.

10. Collaborate with other departments (transportation, procurement, customer service) to coordinate workflow.

*Preferred candidate profile*

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain, or business is a plus).

1. 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

2. Solid understanding of logistics operations, inventory systems, and warehouse processes.

3. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

4. Comfortable using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and basic Microsoft Office tools.
