Fashion Designer

You will be responsible for conducting research on the latest trends by reviewing websites and visiting markets. Based on the trend analysis, you will prepare trend presentations following the calendar, focusing on aspects such as color, fabrics, silhouettes, prints, and graphics for the season. Utilize insights from past data and feedback from the retail team to identify successful designs from previous seasons and incorporate them into the current range. Your role will involve creating design range mood boards for T-shirts, sweatshirts, flat-knits, and jackets aligned with the design research and buying calendar. Additionally, you will be tasked with planning range presentations and ensuring timely delivery of range and tech packs as per the set calendar. You will also need to approve pre-production sample design translations, including lab dips, color cuttings, print strike-offs, styling, fit, and trims, and ensure timely approval of samples. Furthermore, part of your responsibilities will include analyzing trends in fabric, colors, and embellishment techniques, as well as establishing Brand Direction & Strategy at the beginning of the season. You will be expected to develop focused Conceptual Stories based on thorough research, analysis, and the brand's signature, and act as the interface between the Marketing department for Seasonal Campaign Concepts, Final Looks, Ensembles, and Models. Key competencies required for this role include proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, a strong understanding of brand values and guidelines to maintain design consistency, knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, and color schemes, as well as familiarity with fabrics, garment construction, and applications.,
