Factory Manager-EV

The Factory Head at an Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing company plays a pivotal leadership role, overseeing end-to-end plant operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Below are the key job responsibilities: Lead and manage all factory operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain. Develop and execute production strategies aligned with company goals and EV industry standards. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure timely production of EVs (or components like batteries, motors, etc.) as per specifications and volume targets. Oversee resource planning, capacity utilization, and production scheduling. Minimize downtime and optimize production line efficiency. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and maintenance staff. Drive skill development and training programs for plant personnel. Foster a performance-driven and safety-oriented culture. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials and components.
