Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Export Executive Business Development

1. Market Research and Strategy

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential international markets for Special Purpose Machines.
  • Develop market entry strategies including pricing, distribution, and marketing plans tailored for each region.

2. Sales Development

  • Generate new business opportunities by identifying and connecting with prospective international customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customers and partners in global markets.
  • Plan and conduct customer visits, as well as evaluate potential agencies.

3. Product Knowledge

  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Special Purpose Machines, including their applications and competitive advantages.

4. Negotiation and Contracting

  • Prepare commercial offers, follow up on submitted proposals, and finalize orders.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, contracts, and partnerships ensuring favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with international legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow up on payments to ensure timely collections.

5. Marketing and Promotion

  • Work in collaboration with the marketing team to design and implement targeted marketing campaigns and promotional materials for international markets.
  • Represent the company at global trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance visibility.

6. Reporting and Forecasting

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to revise strategies.
  • Finalize and maintain agency contract agreements.

7. Departmental Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal departments (design, service, production, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

8. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Address and resolve customer complaints; ensure feedback is shared internally and updates are communicated back to customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, AMC, design, and service teams to close open complaints efficiently.
  • Plan customer visits and prepare related reports.
  • Collect and circulate customer feedback for continuous improvement.

9. Additional Responsibilities

a. Agent Search & Agency Agreements:

  • Identify and appoint agents in target territories.
  • Draft and manage agency agreements.

b. Branding Activities:

  • Coordinate branding initiatives such as event exhibitions, photo shoots, magazine advertisements, etc.

c. Travel & Event Coordination:

  • Manage vendor coordination for international travel bookings and visa processing for team members attending global events.

d. Export Promotion:

  • Research and subscribe to government schemes and policies that support and promote export activities.
