Role & responsibilities

• Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery from vendors and suppliers.
  
• Expedite delayed shipments and resolve issues causing delivery disruptions.
  
• Communicate delivery schedules and status updates with internal teams (e.g., production, planning, inventory control).
  
• Maintain accurate records of all order statuses and supplier performance.
  
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm lead times, shipping instructions, and delivery dates.
  
• Coordinate with logistics providers for freight scheduling and tracking.
  
• Identify and escalate potential supply issues to minimize impact on production timelines.
  
• Support procurement team in identifying reliable suppliers and improving supplier relationships.
  
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to lead times and inventory management.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles.
  
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and terminology.
  
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
