Job Description

1. Strategic Planning & Growth : - Market Research & Analysis: Identifying new market opportunities, trends, and potential clients. - Developing Strategies: Creating strategies to drive company growth, market share, and customer acquisition. - Competitive Analysis: Monitoring competitors and adjusting strategies to stay ahead. 2. Relationship Management : - Building Partnerships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. - Networking: Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build relationships and promote the brand. 3. Sales & Revenue Generation : - Lead Generation: Identifying and generating high-value leads for the sales team. - Sales Strategy: Developing and executing plans to close large deals, and contribute to the company's revenue goals. - Negotiations: Leading negotiations with key clients, partners, and vendors. - Client Retention: Ensuring the success of ongoing partnerships to secure repeat business. 4. Leadership & Team Collaboration : - Team Mentoring: Leading and mentoring a team of junior business development professionals. - Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment on business goals and projects. 5. Financial Acumen & Budgeting : - Budget Management: Managing budgets for business development activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness. - Revenue Forecasting: Forecasting and tracking revenue growth and performance against targets. 6. Reporting & Communication : - Reporting: Regularly reporting to senior management on progress, performance, and challenges. - KPIs & Metrics: Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of development initiatives. 7. Innovation & Problem-Solving : - Innovative Solutions: Developing and suggesting new business models, products, or services to diversify revenue streams. - Problem Solving: Addressing and resolving challenges that arise during the business development process. 8. Brand & Market Positioning : - Brand Strategy: Promoting and strengthening the company's brand and positioning within the industry. - Thought Leadership: Sharing insights and trends to position the company as an industry leader. Required Skills & Experience : - Proven track record in business development and revenue generation. - Strong leadership and team management experience. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - In-depth knowledge of the industry and market trends. - Ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders. - Strong financial and strategic thinking.
