As a Programme Coordinator at Girl Effect's G.U.L.L.Y (Girl Effect Urban Learning Labs for Youth) LAB initiative in Delhi or Mumbai, your main responsibility will be to oversee the program's management and coordination, community engagement, stakeholder management, and reporting and documentation. This full-time consultancy position will initially be for one year and may be extended based on program requirements and performance. To excel in this role, you should have a degree in a relevant field such as gender studies, anthropology, sociology, psychology, or social work. Your knowledge of qualitative research and monitoring and evaluation methodologies will be crucial, along with experience in conducting qualitative research. Understanding gender-specific issues affecting adolescent girls and how SRH-based programming can empower them is essential. Experience with adolescents and young girls from vulnerable communities, as well as the ability to develop and adapt content for diverse audiences, will be advantageous. Proficiency in Hindi and English is a must, and knowledge of Marathi is highly desirable for the Mumbai-based position. You should be an effective communicator and writer, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and train young people in qualitative research and community mobilization.
