EV Technician

You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostic tests, and repairs on electric vehicles at Govt Polytechnic College, Bhubaneswar & GRIET, Hyderabad. Your duties will include applying welding techniques to repair or fabricate components and structures for electric vehicles, diagnosing and repairing battery management systems and related components, as well as troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems such as wiring, controllers, and motors. It is crucial to adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while handling electric vehicle systems and components. In addition to the technical tasks, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles and provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair timelines. Collaboration with other technicians and departments is essential to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency. To be considered for this position, you should have an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, or related fields. Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of electric vehicles is required, along with hands-on experience in welding techniques and processes. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential, and you should be flexible to travel Pan India as needed.
