The main objective of the position is to operate process plants for manufacturing finished products by monitoring and controlling process parameters. Attending all EHS training as required, promptly reporting incidents, near misses, or exposure to hazardous substances to the direct supervisor, maintaining good housekeeping practices, conducting risk analysis, and developing safe working skills and habits are also part of the responsibilities. Key activities include maintaining production, quality, and safety standards, ensuring smooth plant operations, and housekeeping practices. The job skills required for this position include equipment knowledge of production/packaging equipment, instrumentation/control systems, and automation, as well as technical standards. Understanding process unit operations, safety protocols, and effective communication are also essential skills. Job requirements for this position include a Diploma in plastic processing/ITI with 3 years of experience in a polymer plant, along with 3-15 years of working experience.
