As a dedicated and experienced Consultant ENT Specialist, you will be an invaluable addition to our multidisciplinary team. With a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of ear, nose, and throat conditions. Your commitment to providing excellent patient care will contribute significantly to the overall success of our department. Your key responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating a wide range of ENT conditions, performing routine and complex ENT surgeries and procedures, offering consultations for both inpatient and outpatient cases, providing medical advice to patients on managing their ENT issues, as well as coordinating with other specialists and healthcare providers for holistic patient care. In terms of clinical expertise, you will be expected to manage acute and chronic ENT conditions with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Staying updated on the latest developments and techniques in ENT treatments and surgeries will be essential, along with utilizing diagnostic tools and imaging technologies to accurately assess patients. Your surgical skills will be put to the test as you perform various ENT surgeries, including ear surgeries, sinus surgeries, and throat surgeries. Assisting in the preparation and post-operative care of surgical patients will also be part of your responsibilities. Educating patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment options, and preventive care will be a key aspect of your patient care approach. Providing support and guidance on postoperative care, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitation will also be expected. Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting by maintaining patient records, complying with hospital standards and legal requirements will be crucial. Collaboration with nursing staff and other specialists, participation in department meetings, case discussions, and medical rounds will be essential for delivering integrated care. Adherence to hospital protocols, policies, and medical standards, along with contribution to quality assurance activities and patient safety initiatives, will be paramount. Your MBBS or equivalent medical degree, along with a postgraduate qualification (MS/DNB) in ENT from a recognized institution, will be the minimum qualifications required. If you possess strong clinical and surgical expertise in ENT disorders, excellent diagnostic skills, proficiency in performing a wide range of ENT surgeries, and strong communication skills, you are encouraged to apply. Additionally, any additional certifications or fellowship programs in ENT subspecialties will be advantageous.
