Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for day to day maintenance activities and taking action

2. Performing preventive maintenance

3. Managing the technician and assigning the day to day activities

4. Co coordinating with Cross functional team in terms of New project and other supporting activities

5. Implementing TPM activities

6. Analyzing day to day breakdowns and taking action

7. Interacting with Cross functional team

8. Monitoring and reviewing the critical spares and procuring

9. Improving MTBF and MTTR

10. Achieving Zero breakdown

11. Improving machine uptime and efficiency

Supporting to achieve Production plan Vs actual 100%

12. Planning and executing PM activities

13. Troubleshooting breakdown activities and taking action

14. Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;

15. Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;

16. Responsible to have an accountability of their respective production line.

17. Responsible for the quality of the deliverable.

18. Develop methodologies/best practices to improve the efficiency of the machine as well as of the team.

19. Ability to handle a team of technicians

20. Updation of maintenance documents

21. Implementation of TPM activities

22. Involving internal and external customer audits

23. Co-ordinating with supplier and performing the instruments calibration

Functional Competencies

1. Must have knowledge in automation products

2. Preferrable Omron CJ2B series, EIP21 Ethernet Modules Interfacing, CJ1W Analog Modules, CJ1W Position Control units, CX programmer

3. Must have knowledge in Mitsubishi Servo system MR-J4 series, MR Configurator, Proface HMI, GP4000 series, GP Pro Software.

4. Preferred to have Programming knowledge in Siemens

5. Must have knowledge in Breakdown, PM activities, PDM activities

6. Must have knowledge of any kind of traceability system

7. Knowledge of MS Office, MS SQL, Desktop Application will be a plus

8. Capability to quickly identify and resolve program bugs

9. Capability to prepare the BOM for the project requirements

10. Manpower planning for the project work

Strong interpersonal skills

Previous Experience

1. Must have maintenance background and should have strong analytical, programming skills

2. Must have been independently executed and programmed automation/digitalization projects

3. Must have been resolved the critical breakdowns related to IPC/PLC/Servo systems independently

4. Must have been done spare planning and procurement activities

5. Must have been coordinated with technical support team/manufacturers to resolve the issues which need additional support

Preferred to have worked for mechanical trouble shooting of machines

Preferred candidate profile

1. Ready to relocate within 4 to 5 km distance.

2. Work in shifts and Holidays

3. 6 days working with staggered weekly off

Should have hands on experience to operate MSCIT and computer knowledge

Education

Diploma/B. Tech. in Electrical & Electronics with 4+ experience
