Engineer - Project Planning & Monitoring

Role & responsibilities

Project Planning

• Develop

  project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and timelines.

• An Intermediate Planning of the Project for tender submission

• Detailed Initial Planning of the Project for client submission after award of contract

• Creation of revised work schedule of Project for client submission in MS Project or Excel as required by the client

• Use

  Primavera, MS Project, or other planning tools

  for effective scheduling.

• Identify

  critical paths, bottlenecks, and resource allocation

  to optimize efficiency.

• Review of Projects and identify th critical PATH and delay analysis and submission to the management & client quarterly basis

Coordinate with the

MIS

• Maintain

  accurate project progress reports, dashboards, and performance tracking metrics

  .
• Preparing notes of the Technical Points discussed in the Review Meeting and present before the management
• Pictorial representation of the progress status of the Project
• Preparation of Presentation for MRM, Work Review Meeting.
• Prepare

  weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports

  for management review.
• Analyze

  project deviations, risks, and productivity trends

  to suggest improvements.
• Ensure

  real-time data updating

  in ERP/Project Management software.

Site Co-ordination

• Coordinate with

  site teams to monitor project execution and resolve on-site issues

  .
• Initial calculation of Quantity of Bulk Materials.
• Follow up with the site team on the progress of work with respect to the Technical Points discussed in the Review Meeting
• Tracking the Work Progress as against the work program submitted.
• Ensure compliance with

  project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations

  .
• Facilitate

  communication between project managers, contractors, and vendors

  .
• Conduct

  regular site visits to verify progress and address operational challenges

  .

Preferably worked in:

Industries

Railways, Metro, Highways (Any Construction Industries)
