Engineer- Linux Test

As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, creating, and modifying test cases to validate a wide range of software including embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, and application software. You will be involved in launching cutting-edge, world-class products and collaborating with various engineering teams to implement effective test plans. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Additionally, a Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred. You should have at least 1+ year of work or academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., as well as experience with Software Test or System Test, including developing and automating test plans and tools. As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include applying software and systems knowledge to support the design and validation of software, designing and implementing test plans, writing functional tests, identifying software defects, collaborating with project teams, and assisting in the development of test case automations. This role involves working under supervision where decision-making impacts the direct area of work. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to convey factual information effectively. Tasks will involve multiple steps that require planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to be completed efficiently.
