Engineer - ALS Surface E&I

A. Scope of work

To install, maintain, and troubleshoot artificial lift systems used in oil and gas production. The ideal

candidate will have hands-on experience with ESP (Electric Submersible Pumps), PCP (Progressing

Cavity Pumps), Gas Lift, and Rod Lift Systems, ensuring efficient production operations.

B. Roles and Responsibilities and KPIs

17. Understanding of mechanical items, dimensions and measurement

18. Should have understanding of different JP profiles and should be able to identify different

sizes of JP spares.

19. Understanding of thread, joints and torque limits for joint tightening.

20. Will be responsible to keep workshop and hand tools in neat and workable condition.

21. Redressing and cleaning of jet pump and storing it properly

22. Will be responsible for maintaining inventory for jet pump and spares, provide update

to ALS engineer on daily basis.

23. Basic knowledge of English and fluency in Hindi.

24. Should have experience of working on MS office, specifically MS excel.

25. Install, commission, and maintain various artificial lift systems (ESP, Gas Lift, Rod Pumps,

PCP, etc.).

26. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on artificial lift equipment.

27. 27. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

28. Monitor well performance and optimize lift system parameters for maximum efficiency.

29. Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards.

30. Work closely with PE, production, engineering, and field operations teams to enhance well

performance.

31. Maintain detailed service logs, reports, and documentation.

32. Train and support field personnel on artificial lift system operations.

Reporting and Logistics:

Inventory Management of JP and spares

. Coordinating with office for day to day JP optimization.

. Updating office about the problems and issues with JP

. Updating about the shortage of equipment.

BSc./Diploma/ITI in mechanical/electrical engineering (or equivalent education qualification)

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience in oil & gas. Should be versed with MS word and MS

excel.
