Roles & Responsibilities: Demonstrate experience in strategic sourcing of direct materials, particularly in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Utilize advanced knowledge of electronics, resins, molding, packaging, and medical device equipment to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities. Continuously seek alternative sources that meet specifications while bridging communication between Asia and US sites for cost improvements. Design and execute RFPs, benchmark contracts, and participate in negotiations as necessary. Drive the implementation of sophisticated analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and machine learning, to uncover hidden trends and opportunities. Leverage advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SAP BI, and PowerPoint to present findings to executive stakeholders and senior management. Lead and influence cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Engineering, and Executive Leadership, to achieve strategic sourcing goals. Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and cost performance while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Provide guidance and leadership to junior sourcing team members, fostering development and supporting career growth. Track and manage sourcing performance metrics, ensuring sourcing strategies align with organizational objectives. Drive continuous improvement efforts within the sourcing process by identifying inefficiencies and recommending best practices. Experience Requirement: 8-12 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, with a focus on the medical device or pharmaceutical industries. Strong expertise in data analysis and advanced analytics tools. Proven track record in leading complex sourcing projects and negotiating supply agreements. Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional teams, particularly in Asia and the US. Demonstrated success in optimizing supplier relationships and driving cost savings. Education: Any Graduation.
