Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare detailed electrical layout drawings including lighting, power, circuit, and cable schedules using AutoCAD
Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, and panel board schematics
Create and maintain accurate wiring diagrams, circuit designs, and termination schedules
Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to ensure technical drawings align with project requirements
Understand client requirements and automation plans to design technically sound electrical systems
Coordinate with on-site teams for modifications, updates, and as-built drawings
Maintain drawing version control and documentation as per project standards
Adhere to electrical standards (such as IS, NEC) and company design protocols

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive AutoCAD Electrical Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing electrical layouts, load calculations, circuit diagrams, and panel designs using AutoCAD. Exposure to home automation systems will be an added advantage.
