1. Job Title: Permit Observer Location: Hazira, Gujarat Qualifications & Experience: B.E./B.Tech with an approved Safety Qualification Minimum 4+ years of experience in high-hazard industries Strong communication skills Key Responsibilities: Witness the issuance of critical permits . Ensure all permit conditions are met at the site. Observe and ensure compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system . Verify adherence to safety procedures for high-risk activities. Conduct and document planned vs. actual Work Permit Surveillance Audits (WOPAR) . Identify and track non-compliance observations , ensuring corrective actions are taken. 2. Permit Specialist Qualifications & Experience: Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Construction Management) from a recognized institution SCTE&VT/AICTE recognized degree or PG diploma in Industrial Safety with a paper in construction safety 9-10 years of experience in the construction field as of the date of deployment Experience in Permit Issuance will be an added advantage Fluency in English and Hindi (reading & writing) Proficiency in computer operations (MS Office, PowerPoint, etc.) Interested candidates can apply on Darpana: 9978604075 or can email me on darpana@upman.in
