EHS Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS policies aligned with
Indian regulations (e.g., Factories Act, BOCW Act, Environmental Protection Act, Hazardous Waste
Management Rules). Integrate EHS into operations and set performance KPIs.
Regulatory Compliance & Audits: Stay updated on EHS laws, ensure compliance with permits/licenses,
conduct internal audits, act as regulatory liaison, and submit required reports.
Risk & Incident Management: Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, investigate
incidents (accidents, near-misses), and analyze data to prevent recurrence.
Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver EHS training, conduct safety talks, and promote employee
participation in EHS initiatives.
Environmental Management: Oversee waste management, pollution prevention, water/energy
conservation, and manage ETP/STP operations to minimize environmental footprint.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and regularly review emergency response plans, conduct drills, and
coordinate with internal/external agencies for effective emergency management.
Contractor Safety: Implement processes for managing contractor EHS performance, ensuring
compliance with standards and legal requirements.
