Maintain awareness of new product/chemical safety legislation and changes to regulations impacting products and businesses. Experience of implementing ACC’s product safety code, doing risk prioritization, risk characterization and determining risk management measures. In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Doctorate/Masters/Bachelors degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry or other relevant scientific field. 10+ years’ experience in GHS hazard classification of components and mixtures. Experience in conducting toxicology/ecotoxicology hazard assessments. Expert knowledge of global hazard communication regulations (GHS, CLP, OSHA HazCom, etc). Knowledge of related regulations.
