E Commerce Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Hunger Tail, a fastgrowing D2C pet nutrition brand, is seeking a datadriven ECommerce Specialist to own and optimize our website performance, digital sales, and customer experience. As we bring ecommerce inhouse, we're looking for someone who can drive traffic, boost conversions, and elevate the online petcare journey .

WHAT YOULL DO

Website Management & UX Optimization

• Oversee the Hunger Tail website, using tools like Figma and CMS platforms.
• Identify and implement enhancements in site structure, navigation, and user flow for improved conversions.

Performance & Sales Analysis

• Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and cart abandonment. Analyze performance data and propose strategies to accelerate sales and improve conversion rates.

Customer Experience Improvement

• Track user behavior and customer feedback to identify friction and optimize touchpoints.
• Implement personalization tactics and improve the postpurchase journey for better engagement and loyalty.

Promotional Campaigns

• Plan and execute digital promotions, bundle offers, and seasonal campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
• Coordinate with content and creative teams to ensure engaging collateral and messaging.

Budget & Channel Management

• Manage digital budgets across growth channelsSEO, email, paid search, performance marketing.
• Evaluate ROI and suggest reallocations for optimal performance.

Stay Ahead of Trends

• Keep updated on ecommerce trendsAI, voice search, UX innovationsand recommend relevant tools.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 45 years owning ecommerce channels (D2C brands, digital agencies, or marketplaces).
• Expertise in Figma or similar tools for page/UX iteration.
• Strong SEO, email marketing, analytics tools (GA4, Search Console, Klaviyo/Mailchimp).
• You thrive on dataA/B tests, dashboards, and insight-driven actions.
• Proven success in increasing conversion, decreasing bounce rates, or boosting average order value.
