Role & responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Optimizely Content Management Developer to lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of digital content experiences using the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP) . The ideal candidate will have deep experience with enterprise CMS solutions and a strong background in the healthcare or eyecare industry . You will play a critical role in shaping high-impact digital solutions that improve customer engagement and support business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end implementation of content solutions using Optimizely CMS (formerly Episerver). Customize and extend Optimizely DXP to meet complex business and user experience requirements. Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital platforms. Design and develop reusable content models, templates, and personalization strategies. Integrate third-party tools, services, and APIs as needed to enhance platform capabilities. Apply industry best practices and compliance standards, especially relevant to healthcare/eyecare digital solutions . Perform code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize performance across environments. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers. Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience in .NET development , with at least 3+ years working specifically with Optimizely CMS/DXP . Strong experience in C# , ASP.NET MVC/Core , and JavaScript frameworks . In-depth knowledge of Optimizely Content Cloud , Commerce Cloud , and personalization features . Experience working in the healthcare or eyecare domain , with understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations. Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and responsive design principles. Proficient in integrating APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and third-party tools. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Optimizely Developer or Solution Architect certification. Experience with Optimizely Search & Navigation , experimentation, or recommendation engines. Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS . Agile/Scrum methodology experience.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Provide insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to support business development and help tailor digital offerings to market demand. Platform Management: Drive delivery of all the Support and Maintenance programs of CMS platforms and marketing automation tools, ensuring seamless integration, high performance, and security. Managed Services & Tagging: Grow a managed services team responsible for the implementation and maintenance of marketing and analytics tagging, ensuring data integrity and accuracy to support analytics and decision-making. Innovation & Technology Roadmap: Innovation in Digital Platforms: Identify and implement emerging technologies Tools, and innovative solutions to differentiate our digital services, offer scalability, and rich user experience. Technology Roadmap: Develop and manage a technology roadmap for digital operations platforms, ensuring alignment with industry trends and business needs. Qualifications: Academic: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 12+ years of IT experience in services industry with 5+ years in technical operations management, with a proven track record in a digital operations environment. Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and effectively communicate technical concepts. Additional Skills: Familiarity with ITIL practices and Agile methodologies is essential. Proficiency in creating and managing documentation for operations, processes, and SOPs.

Job Purpose Designs, develops, and implements applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, writes code, and performs unit and functional testing of software. Contributes to the overall architecture and standards of the group, acts as an SME and plays a software governance role. Key Activities / Outputs Delivery of Projects & Change Requests Play a vital role in the design, development, testing and deployment of Liferay DXP solutions. Work closely with Business Analysts, Solutions Architects, and other Developers to analyse and understand the Business Requirements and Business Case, in order to produce simple, cost effective and innovative solutions using the Liferay DXP product. Design efficient Content Models, Security Models, Workflows and Templates for the Liferay DXP product. Sound experience with producing technical documentation including Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, ERDs, operational and support documentation, etc. Implement designed solutions in accordance with Vitality Group standards, processes, tools, and frameworks. Apply Usability and UX best-practices to all deliverables. Utilise data from external data sources and APIs. Test the quality of produced software thoroughly through participation in Code Reviews, the use of Static Code Analysis tools, creation and execution of Unit Tests, Functional Tests, Regression Tests, Performance Tests and Stress Tests (and evaluating the results of performance metrics collected through the software). Participate in Feasibility Studies, Proof of Concepts, JAD Sessions, Estimation and Costing Sessions, evaluate and review programming methods, tools, and standards, etc. Support Act as a technical liaison between clients, other Engineering teams, as well as Operational and Support teams. Maintain the system in production and provide support in the form of query resolution and defect fixes (including improvement of application performance). Security, Maintenance & Upgrades Review and audit existing Solutions, Designs and Systems Architecture. Ensure Liferay DXP product is kept up-to-date with recent DXP product versions, Fix Packs, and Security Fix Packs. Ensure development encompasses security best-practices with the aim to introduce zero Security Vulnerabilities into the Liferay codebase. Governance, Oversight & Mentoring Drive the skills development of team members, coaching of team members for performance and career development. Ensure external Federated Development teams are developing on the Liferay DXP product in accordance with Vitality Groups governance process and standards. Provide input into recruitment, staff training, and performance management processes. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency. Technical Skills or Knowledge Liferay Enterprise DXP 7.0 and above. • HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, and React. • Interfacing with RESTful and SOAP-based web-services. • Solid knowledge of design patterns and refactoring concepts. • Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, and problems analysis. • Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills. • Experience with modern project management, CI/CD, and team collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, Gerrit). • Understanding of Agile principles. Preferred Technical Skills (Would be advantageous) At least 5+years experience in web development and Content Management Systems in general, with at least 3 years of specific Liferay experience advantageous. This position is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad which requires you to be in the office on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
