Draftsman/woman

You will be joining our team as a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman. Your primary responsibility will involve creating technical drawings and plans based on designs and specifications provided by engineers or architects. It will be your key role to ensure that all designs are accurate, compliant with standards, and ready for construction or manufacturing. Your key responsibilities will include creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Revit. You will need to interpret architectural and engineering designs and convert them into technical plans. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers will be essential to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You will also be required to revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards and regulations. Maintaining project documentation and filing systems, as well as assisting in site surveys and field measurements when necessary, will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have a diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role. Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Revit is necessary, along with a strong attention to detail and precision. A good understanding of construction or manufacturing processes, the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in a specific industry such as architecture, civil engineering, or mechanical design, familiarity with local building codes and regulations, and knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling).
