Draftsman

What You’ll Do: As a Fabrication Draftsman at KP Industries, you’ll be responsible for bringing engineering concepts to life through high-quality technical drawings and detailed fabrication plans. Your role will directly contribute to the design and execution. Key Responsibilities: Prepare 2D fabrication drawings for structures, equipment skids, and piping layouts. Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on engineering inputs and fabrication drawings. Translate mechanical and civil engineering designs into production-ready drawings. Assist in machine drafting including rotating and static equipment layouts. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimization of drawings as per project needs. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and fabrication teams for design finalization. What We’re Looking For: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Drafting or related field. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in fabrication drawing and detailing. Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SolidWorks or other 2D/3D tools is a plus. Strong understanding of fabrication tolerances, structural detailing, and BOM generation. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
