Senior Software Engineer (.NET/Azure) who

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Design

Interpret application and component design specifications to build robust, scalable applications.
Develop code adhering to high standards of quality, performance, and security.
Apply modern design patterns, frameworks, and architectural best practices.
Create and modernize APIs, microservices, and web applications for multi-device platforms.

Code & Testing

Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code using C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
Perform code reviews, implement unit testing, and resolve QA-reported bugs.
Use CI/CD pipelines and version control systems for development and deployment processes.
Support system integration and testing, triaging and fixing defects during testing phases.

Cloud & DevOps

Develop cloud-native applications using Azure IaaS and SaaS solutions.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
Monitor and support release processes, ensuring adherence to secure SDLC practices.

Architecture & Technical Leadership

Contribute to architectural design discussions, security, database modeling, and scalability planning.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance in daily development activities.
Evaluate and integrate acquired technologies into existing product ecosystems.

Customer & Team Collaboration

Interact with Product and Design teams to refine user stories and present technical options.
Participate in product demos and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Maintain high levels of team motivation and engagement, aligning with project goals.

Expected Deliverables

High-quality code conforming to defined standards and practices
Design and development documentation (HLD, LLD, test cases, SAD)
Unit and integration test cases and execution reports
Accurate estimates for project/module/task delivery
Contribution to knowledge repositories and reusables
Timely completion of code reviews, bug fixes, and release cycles

Code quality (defect density, leakage, rework)
Adherence to project timelines and milestones
Compliance with coding standards and engineering processes
Sprint velocity and team productivity metrics

Qualifications

Must-Have

6+ years of experience in .NET software development and architecture
2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred

Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM tools
Certifications in Microsoft Azure or .NET technologies
Experience with secure coding and cloud security best practices
