Description
As a Software Developer at Yolo Bus located in Gurugram (Sector-32), your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET languages such as C# and VB.NET. You will be utilizing technologies like ASP.NET, .NET Core, or .NET Maui to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices. Collaboration with internal teams including designers, architects, and testers will be essential to analyze requirements, design software architecture, and ensure seamless integration. Additionally, you will be involved in testing, debugging, and deploying applications while prioritizing performance, security, and scalability. It will be your duty to optimize and maintain existing systems, addressing defects and improving functionality effectively. Your role will involve leveraging databases like SQL Server for efficient data management and integration. Staying updated with the latest .NET framework updates, tools, and industry trends such as the Unified .NET Framework will be crucial. Participation in code reviews, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices like CI/CD and Git will also be expected from you. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and have at least 3 years of experience in .NET development. Proficiency in C# and/or VB.NET, strong knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET Core, and design patterns, as well as experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and database design are required. Familiarity with front-end technologies, version control systems, Agile methodologies, and modern DevOps practices is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer/Expert (MCSD/MCSE) or cloud certifications, experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Mono, knowledge of front-end frameworks or tools, and familiarity with microservices, Web API, or containerization. Key skills for this role include technical proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, and debugging, along with soft skills such as strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Adaptability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs is also essential.
