Job Description – Director of Photography (DOP) – Delhi Based

We are looking for a Delhi-based DOP for an upcoming low-budget Indie feature film project.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling and wants to build strong work experience through hands-on projects. We're open to collaborating with individuals in the early stages of their careers, as long as they have a good eye for visuals and understand the basics of camera work.

Candidates from film institutes such as Whistling Woods, FTII, SRFTI, AAFT, etc. will be considered favourably.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop the visual look and feel of the film in collaboration with the Director

- Plan and execute all camera and lighting setups

- Manage camera team and coordinate with the lighting department (Gaffer, grips, etc.)

- Ensure smooth shooting on set while maintaining the desired visual quality

- Work efficiently within limited budgets and shooting schedules

Requirements:

- Based in Delhi NCR

- Prior experience on short films, indie projects, or student films

- Strong understanding of framing, composition, camera gear, and lighting

- Ability to lead a small team and manage shoot-day operations

- Professional attitude with a collaborative and problem-solving approach
