Job Title: Head of Digital Marketing

Head of Digital Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy aligned with institutional goals (e.g., admissions, brand visibility, course promotion).
  • Identify target audiences and create digital campaigns to effectively reach prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan annual digital marketing budgets and allocate resources across channels.

Performance Marketing:

  • Oversee paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, and programmatic platforms.
  • Optimize campaigns for lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Work closely with admissions/sales teams to ensure leads are qualified and nurtured.

Content & SEO:

  • Lead content strategy across website, blogs, email, and social media to engage audiences and improve organic reach.
  • Oversee SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings for key programs and brand terms.

Social Media & Community Building:

  • Build a strong online presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Manage online reputation and ensure timely response to student inquiries, reviews, and engagement.

Website & UX:

  • Oversee website strategy, user experience, and CRO (conversion rate optimization).
  • Coordinate with design and tech teams for website updates, landing pages, and lead capture mechanisms.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Define KPIs and use tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and CRM platforms to track campaign performance.
  • Prepare regular reports with insights, learnings, and recommendations.

Team & Agency Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketers, content creators, and performance executives.
  • Manage relationships with digital agencies, freelancers, and technology partners.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 6–10 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in the

    education sector

    or

    edtech

    is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, content strategy, and brand building.
  • Hands-on experience with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, SEMrush, GA4).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Deep understanding of student/parent behavior and digital journeys.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
