About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps leader to establish and enforce deployment architecture standards and best practices across the organization. This person will be responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps workflows , from small-scale applications to enterprise-grade solutions . This individual will: Define and standardize DevOps and deployment architecture . Ensure cloud-agnostic practices across AWS, Azure, GCP, and other platforms . Audit and enforce adherence to DevOps standards in all projects. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated, efficient software delivery . Optimize cost, performance, and security in cloud environments . Key Responsibilities 1. DevOps Strategy & Standardization Define and implement DevOps methodologies, best practices, and cloud deployment frameworks . Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CI/CD, security, monitoring, and automation . Ensure scalability, security, and performance optimization in cloud deployments. 2. Multi-Cloud Expertise & Flexibility Oversee cloud-agnostic infrastructure to ensure compatibility across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud solutions . Guide teams on choosing the right cloud services and deployment models for different projects. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. 3. Deployment Architecture & CI/CD Implementation Design and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable architectures . Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies . Oversee containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm . 4. Security & Compliance Establish cloud security best practices and identity & access management (IAM) policies . Implement automated compliance checks to ensure regulatory adherence (ISO, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.). Secure DevOps workflows with DevSecOps practices for vulnerability scanning and threat mitigation. 5. DevOps Audits & Continuous Monitoring Conduct regular audits of projects to ensure DevOps and deployment standards are followed. Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Datadog . Optimize cloud cost management and performance tuning strategies. 6. Collaboration & Mentorship Work closely with developers, cloud engineers, and project managers to align DevOps goals . Mentor and guide teams on best DevOps practices and emerging technologies . Foster a culture of automation, reliability, and operational excellence . Key Qualifications & Skills Must-Have: 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and deployment architecture. Expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud solutions. Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline automation and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm) . Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.) . Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and DevSecOps integration . Experience in monitoring, logging, and cloud cost optimization . Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing . Preferred: Exposure to AI/ML Ops, blockchain DevOps, and Web3 infrastructure . Experience in high-performance computing, edge computing, and hybrid cloud strategies . Knowledge of automated governance, compliance frameworks, and cloud-native security .

Responsibilities DevOps Strategy & Process Leadership: Lead and define DevOps strategy for the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) best practices. Develop and implement DevOps adoption frameworks across multiple teams, ensuring effective transformation from traditional development models to agile, automated workflows. Oversee the creation and implementation of processes for DevSecOps , ensuring security is integrated throughout the CI/CD pipeline. Metrics Definition & Tracking: Design and implement metrics collection strategies that track DevOps maturity , adoption , and the effectiveness of automation processes. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the success of DevOps initiatives , including deployment frequency, lead time for changes, mean time to recovery (MTTR), and other essential metrics. Ensure visibility of metrics across teams and stakeholders, and provide actionable insights to continuously improve DevOps processes. CI/CD Pipeline Management & Build Automation: Oversee the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Create and maintain global templates for DevOps pipelines across multiple projects, ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality in build and deployment processes. Design and implement build breaker mechanisms for stage gates, ensuring that code quality, security compliance, and testing standards are met before progressing to the next stage. Process Optimization & Automation: Work closely with engineering teams to identify areas for automation and process improvement in the build, test, and deployment workflows . Define and refine processes to ensure high-quality code delivery, timely releases, and compliance with regulatory or security standards. Optimize existing DevOps workflows and tools to increase the speed, stability, and security of application releases. Team Collaboration & Coaching: Collaborate with various engineering, development, and security teams to understand their challenges and requirements, and implement DevOps solutions that address their needs. Provide mentorship and guidance to DevOps teams in adopting best practices, troubleshooting pipeline issues, and designing solutions for continuous integration and deployment. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning , ensuring that teams are always up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends, practices, and tools. Tooling & Automation Frameworks: Design and maintain automation frameworks using YAML , integrating with tools like GitHub Enterprise , Azure DevOps , and other DevOps tools to streamline and automate the delivery lifecycle. Ensure the consistency of processes across all environments (development, test, production) by maintaining standardized automation practices and templates. Governance & Compliance: Develop governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies while supporting DevSecOps practices. Ensure security standards are embedded into every phase of the DevOps lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and securing cloud infrastructure. Stakeholder Reporting & Insights: Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, providing insights on DevOps performance, adoption, and challenges. Present findings and recommendations for optimizing DevOps processes and metrics tracking to executive teams. Qualifications 14+ years of experience in DevOps, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-level DevSecOps transformations and building scalable CI/CD pipelines. Deep expertise in DevOps tools such as GitHub Enterprise , Azure DevOps , and advanced experience with YAML for pipeline scripting and configuration. Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, with hands-on experience embedding security within the CI/CD pipeline. Expertise in build automation and managing global templates for pipelines and workflows across large enterprise systems. Demonstrated ability to implement build breaker systems for enforcing stage gates, ensuring code quality and security compliance. Experience with DevOps metrics and KPIs , including deployment frequency , lead time for changes , mean time to recovery (MTTR) , and change failure rate . Ability to define and implement DevOps strategies and process improvements across large, distributed teams. Strong background in programming languages used for DevOps, such as Python , Bash , PowerShell , or Ruby , for scripting automation processes. Proven experience in driving DevOps adoption strategies and ensuring the successful transition to DevOps practices in a large organization. In-depth understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud . Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and drive change across multiple teams. Develop and implement DevOps strategies aligned with business goals. Lead, mentor, and manage DevOps and software engineering teams to foster a collaborative culture. Oversee CI/CD pipeline design, automation, testing and maintenance, with a strong focus on Jenkins. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive solutions. Promote continuous improvement and adoption of DevOps best practices across teams Skillset Requirements Minimum of 10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years of experience in leading a team of 5-8 team members. Experience in automating application development, release, and deployment cycles is mandatory. Proven experience as a full stack software engineer and in a DevOps leadership role. Deep understanding of Jenkins for CI/CD, including pipeline scripting, job orchestration. Experience in Shell Scripting for automation tasks is mandatory. Experience with Maven and Ant Script for build automation is good to have. Knowledge in scripting skills like Python, Bash, Groovy is good to have. Knowledge of InstallShield or other installer software for application packaging is good to have. Preferred to Project management certification Experience in RDBMS is good to have.
