Devops Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that software is designed and developed with DevOps principles in mind.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g GCP)
• Implement and manage containerization solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure system security through best practices in access control, auditing, and vulnerability management.
• Write and maintain scripts for automation using Shell and Python.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary updates and patches.
• Document processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Implement and manage logging and monitoring solutions using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Preferred candidate profile

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps role
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that software is designed and developed with DevOps principles in mind.
• Implement and manage containerization solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell and Python) . Write and maintain scripts for automation using Shell and Python.
• Proficiency in Docker & container.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with cloud-based services.

Good to have:

• ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• MongoDB
• Apache kafka
