Role Summary

DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage deployments of the

  DIGIT platform

  across cloud and on-premise environments (Kubernetes-based).
• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  
• Develop and manage infrastructure using

  Infrastructure as Code

  tools such as

  Terraform

  ,

  CloudFormation

  , and

  Ansible

  .
• Monitor infrastructure and application health using tools like

  Prometheus

  ,

  Grafana

  , and

  Jaeger

  .
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and failover of infrastructure using Kubernetes and Helm.
  
• Ensure security best practices across DevOps processessecrets management, image scanning, vulnerability monitoring, etc.
  
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams to enable smooth and rapid deployments.
  
• Manage version control systems, branching strategies, and code integrations across modules.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues swiftly.
  
• Document workflows, infrastructure setups, and standard operating procedures.
  

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 36 years of DevOps experience, preferably in open-source or digital public infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in

  Kubernetes

  (EKS, AKS, or on-prem clusters).
• Strong hands-on with

  Docker

  ,

  Helm

  ,

  Terraform

  ,

  GitLab CI/CD

  ,

  Jenkins

  , and

  Linux systems

  .
• Experience with

  cloud environments (AWS, Azure)

  and hybrid/on-prem setups.
• Understanding of security practices in DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
  

Desirable Skills

• Prior experience with

  DIGIT platform

  or other open-source govtech platforms.
• Exposure to

  Agile and DevOps culture

  in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently in remote/distributed environments.
