Developer Associate

You will be joining the SAP Procurement Product Team as an Associate Developer in Bangalore. In this role, you will work on developing state-of-the-art software applications in S/4HANA Private cloud. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating accountability for all tasks, ensuring timely and quality completion, and efficiency in delivery. It is essential to apply clean code principles by conducting code reviews, inspections, unit testing, and other quality assurance tasks. You will work as a full stack developer and collaborate closely with the Architect, Senior Developers, and other stakeholders for effective design and code reviews. Additionally, you will be responsible for authoring and executing automation tests, as well as creating software design and technical documentation. To be successful in this role, you should have 1-3 years of experience in software development with a strong educational background such as a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or MCA from reputable institutes. Proficiency in ABAP OO, ABAP Core Data Services (CDS), OData, RAP, HANA, SAPUI5, and Fiori is required. Knowledge of automation test frameworks like Vyper, OPA5, and QUnits would be beneficial. Exposure to agile development methodologies like Scrum and experience or functional knowledge in Procurement, SAP MM, or SRM is a plus. Familiarity with performance tuning in HANA CDS, analytical application development using KPI, ALP, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and global team environment are also desirable qualities.
