Design Engineer-Solidworks

Location: A6 sector 3, Noida , Next to Hyundai Motors

Experience: Minimum 2 years (SolidWorks 2D & 3D Modelling Experience is Mandatory)

Job Description:

Lokpal Industries is seeking a talented and dedicated Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing designs for industrial equipment, material handling systems, and custom machinery. The role demands strong expertise in both 2D and 3D modelling using SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks as per project requirements.
• Design material handling equipment, industrial tools, fixtures, and machinery components.
• Convert concepts, sketches, and legacy drawings (AutoCAD/hand sketches) into SolidWorks models.
• Prepare and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for production.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to refine designs.
• Ensure that all designs comply with applicable safety standards and regulations.

Required Skills:

• SolidWorks 2D & 3D Modelling Expertise (including Part Modelling, Assembly, Sheet Metal,Weldments, and Surface Modelling).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to interpret and create detailed technical drawings.
• Proficiency in the use of measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, angle gauge, etc.).
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
