Description
Enable data-driven decision making across the Tesco business globally by developing analytics solutions using a combination of math, tech, and business knowledge. You will be responsible for identifying operational improvements and finding solutions by applying CI tools and techniques, completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's, engaging with business & functional partners to understand business priorities, and scoping analytical solutions. You should have an in-depth understanding of techniques to prepare analytical datasets leveraging multiple complex data sources, building statistical models and ML algorithms, writing structured algorithms using Continuous Improvement principles, and building a visualization layer to empower end-users to make decisions. Additionally, you will collaborate with the line manager to ensure application/consumption and identify opportunities to address bigger business questions. To qualify for this role, you should have 1-2 years of experience in data science application in Retail or CPG, with preferred functional experience in Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer, Merchandising, Operations, Finance, or Digital.
