Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy customized Odoo modules for Dealer Management operations such as Vehicle Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Inventory, CRM, and Finance. Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, timelines, and quality deliverables. Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Integrate Odoo with third-party applications like DMS-specific tools, manufacturer portals, and payment gateways. Manage system performance, troubleshoot issues, and handle version upgrades and data migrations. Ensure seamless communication between dealerships and head office through centralized ERP solutions. Oversee testing, deployment, and post-implementation support of Odoo applications. Maintain documentation of customization and workflows for future reference and audits. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Odoo (v11 to v16+), with a focus on DMS or similar domain workflows. Proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and Odoos ORM. Deep understanding of dealership business processes such as Vehicle Lifecycle, Inventory Management, Service Scheduling, Parts Ordering, and Warranty Management. Experience in leading teams and managing end-to-end Odoo project implementations. Knowledge of Git, Odoo.sh, Docker, and Linux environments. Ability to analyze complex workflows and optimize for performance and scalability. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. Previous experience working in the Automobile or Equipment Dealership industry is highly desirable. Odoo Certification or similar ERP-related certifications is a plus.
