Data Quality Management

As the Data Lineage Lead, your primary responsibility will be to define and lead Data Lineage standards while continuously evolving them. You will play a crucial role in enhancing data lineage by proactively presenting ideas with use cases and identifying opportunities for process improvements within the team. Additionally, you will be tasked with upskilling the staff by recognizing knowledge gaps and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Your role will also involve creating a Data Management Centre of Excellence in India and collaborating with Business Divisions/Group Functions to establish combined Objectives and Key Results to ensure successful completion. You will be responsible for owning the standard operating procedures for the CDO Data Lineage team, as well as the escalation framework to ensure adherence. In this position, you will be expected to flag discrepancies and anomalies in data to the appropriate forums and track them to closure. You will review and own policies and standards for the Data Lineage team, perform control testing for Data Lineage and maintenance, and provide support during audits. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrating subject matter expertise in business/support functions such as Risk, Finance, and Wholesale banking - Previous experience in Data Management Operations or Data Lineage is preferred - Minimum of 12 years of experience in Data Management/Business Analysis - Proficiency in Data Governance and/or Data Quality Management - Familiarity with banking or capital markets regulations including BCBS 239, IFRS, and CCAR, with an understanding of the KDO/CDE lifecycle - Skilled in senior management communications and decision-making - Ability to drive organizational changes and influence stakeholders - Methodical, concise, and accurate with a strong attention to detail - Collaborative mindset with the capability to integrate teams towards a common goal, listen to diverse views, and facilitate decision-making - Proficient in driving organizational and team culture enhancements In summary, as a Data Lineage Lead, you will be at the forefront of establishing and maintaining Data Lineage standards, driving improvements, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.,
