Data Migration Consultant

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate data migration from Oracle 12c to Oracle 19c/21c or higher.
• Experience with Flexcube Core Banking System migration.
• Validate migration completeness, accuracy, and data integrity.
• Write complex T-SQL queries for reconciliation and validation tasks.
• Develop or review SSIS packages for data extraction or comparison logic
• Develop ETL packages in SSIS for staging and reconciliation.
• Conduct detailed data profiling and quality checks using MS SQL Server.
• Document discrepancies and generate audit reports.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on with Oracle databases (12c through 21c).
• Knowledge of Flexcube data structures and migration behaviour.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server.
• Practical experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
• Prior experience with data migration, data reconciliation or ETL Validation.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with data migration tools, frameworks, or scripting (Python/PowerShell)
• Exposure to data governance, audit compliance, or migration KPIs.
• Understanding of banking data domains (e.g., Loans, GL, Retail, Treasury)
