Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for Data Engineering Platform TechOps Engineers who have managed Technical Operations and Support on Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (including Hive, Zookeeper), Spark, Airflow, Nifi, etc. Deliverables:
Responsible for day to day technical operations and support of Data Platform. Perform regular health-check of Platform and application
Be the eye and ears for any application issues
Responsible to deliver KPI/Reports as per agreed SLO
Monitor Alerts and take defined actions to resolve the issue
Monitor and attend SR, Incident tickets on tool, work towards resolution and close tickets
Perform initial level of analysis on receiving any alert, issue, ticket
Informed L2 timely if issue not resolved
Update SOP with new findings and keep learning
Knowledge transfer to other team
Work in 24x7 shifts
Respond to user requests, queries, issues within agreed SLO, provide timely update and perform regular follow-up till issue closure.
Fetch and Provide data as per user request
Document and report daily issue, help analyze critical issue
Co-ordinate with various teams
ITIL knowledge is desired
Hands-on experience in Linux and mainstream database (Oracle, SQL)
Basic knowledge of Hive/Hadoop/HDFS Hands-on experience on ELK stack and other monitoring tools
Should have worked on any ITSM tool for resolving SRs, Incidents and Change Management
Understanding of at least one scripting language (e.g. shell, Perl).
Should be able to monitor, re-run, kill Jobs in Yarn and Airflow
OCP Exposure would be added advantage
Experience in periodic maintenance activities & troubleshooting.
