Data Engineer (SQL Server)

Description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled data engineer with expertise in SQL Server, SSAS, Informatica, ActiveBatch, and Azure Data Factory to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing production support and development of existing data pipelines, working closely with others to ensure data integrity and optimize performance. Key Responsibilities: Provide production support for existing data pipelines, ensuring timely and accurate data processing. Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using SQL Server, SSAS, and Informatica. Monitor and manage ActiveBatch jobs to ensure efficient workflow automation. Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and data accuracy. Monitor and improve the performance of data pipelines, identifying and implementing enhancements. Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Science or related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in data pipeline development and production support. Expertise in T-SQL. Proficiency in SQL Server, SSAS, and Informatica. Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with orchestration tools like ActiveBatch and Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS). Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL.
