Your Impact

As aData & System Architect, you will play a pivotal role indesigning robust and scalable architecture solutionsthat power Cisco's business initiatives. Your work will have a direct impact onoperational efficiencyanddata-driven decision-making.

In this role, you will:

Design and Develop Architecture:Create comprehensivedata models,database designs, andETL processesto meet evolving business requirements.
Technical Leadership:Providetechnical guidanceto the data and analytics team, ensuring alignment with best practices and business goals.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:Work withbusiness analysts,data scientists, anddata analyststo understand data needs and deliver systemic solutions.
Ensure Integration:Oversee theintegration and interoperabilityof systems with Cisco's existing infrastructure and third-party applications.
Optimize Systems:Identify and resolveperformance bottlenecks, optimizing systems forspeed,scalability, andreliability.
Documentation and Standards:Create and maintain detaileddocumentationof system architecture, design decisions, and technical standards.
Evaluate New Technologies:Research and recommendnew tools, frameworks, and technologiesto enhance system performance and security.
Security Compliance:Ensure compliance withsecurity standards, regulations, and best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
Mentorship:Mentor junior architects and team members, fostering a culture ofinnovationandcontinuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications

You bring a strong foundation indata and system architecturewith proven experience in managing complex projects.

Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Science,Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
7+ yearsof experience in system architecture, design, and development, with expertise in thesupply chain domain.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency inSQL,database management systems(e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL),data warehousing,ETL tools, anddata modeling tools.
Programming expertise inPythonandR Shiny.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Big Data Expertise:Experience withbig data technologies.
