Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Experience: 12 years +

Location: Pan India

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Architect

Core Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

Design end-to-end architecture for D365 F&O implementations.
Define integration points with other systems (e.g., Power Platform, Azure services, third-party systems).

Technical Leadership

Lead development teams in implementing customizations, extensions, and interfaces.
Define development standards and best practices for D365 F&O.

Customization & Development

Oversee X++ development, SSRS reports, custom services, and batch jobs.
Leverage extension frameworks to avoid overlayering.

Environment Management

Plan and manage environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).
Guide ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) including source control and build pipelines (Azure DevOps).

Performance Optimization

Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in D365 F&O environments.

Security Design

Design and implement security roles, duties, and privileges within D365 F&O.

Collaboration

Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to align technical solutions with business goals.

Upgrade and Migration

Plan and lead upgrades (e.g., from AX 2012 to D365).
Support data migration and legacy system integration.

Visual Studio, LCS (Lifecycle Services), Azure DevOps, RSAT, Data Management Framework
