To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of Software Engineering experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience or a PhD in a related field is accepted. An academic or work background of at least 2 years in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python is required. As a member of QCT's Customer Engineering group, you will play a crucial role in the commercialization of QCT products. Responsibilities include analyzing, debugging, and resolving issues in collaboration with customers. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to enhance the quality of products. This position offers the opportunity to engage with leading wireless operators and R&D teams on advanced wireless technologies like 5G Sub6, 5G mmW, LBR-mmW, and UBR. Key responsibilities involve system performance optimization, debugging support, conducting demos, and field trials for new features. Onsite support to mobile operators for the rollout and enhancement of 5G/LBR-mmW networks is essential. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5+ years of customer support and debugging experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong protocol knowledge in various wireless technologies, excellent log analysis skills, and proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Perl, Python, and MATLAB. Familiarity with data protocols, TCP/IP networking protocols, and programming project experience is advantageous.
